A gift of aerial hoop lessons
From one friend to the other. What an amazing gift and birthday surprise.
When Melanie arrived at my aerial hoop studio, with her friend Bekki, she had really no clue what her birthday activity surprise was. Bekki said she thought she was going quad biking!
I greeted them as they drove up, Melanie still have no idea what she would be doing! We walked on up to my aerial hoop studio and I flung open the door and showed them my aerial hoop studio!
I don’t think Melanie knew what to say for a few moments. I reassured her that it was going to be a lot of fun.
Melanie then said that she didn’t want to do it and refused to sign the Par-Q form!
I was just stood there panicking a little and thinking that she really hated this surprise and was not going to do it.
I kept reassuring her that it would be fun and she would be able to do it!
We finally got into it and I taught them both a little aerial hoop flow and beginner poses. They are both really good at it and had no problem in any of the moves I taught them. I was so impressed with their efforts.
I think that these two good friends really enjoyed themselves, they learned some new skills and had a lot of fun. What an absolutely wonderful gift from Bekki!
Lots of people are always saying to me that they could never do something like aerial hoop. But the truth is your body can do a lot more than your mind thinks it can!
You don’t need any upper body strength to begin with, you don’t need to be flexible, you don’t need any fitness background! You can start at any age!
Prove to everyone around you wrong by doing something that they thought you couldn’t.
