Anna Wilkes
- Creative: I have been creating photos for over 20 years. I love the creative process. From the idea in my head right. through to the final finished image.
- Making Props: I like to make my own props for photo-shoots. I don’t like to waste materials, so sometimes props can get made up of left overs! Some props are recycled and made into other things. I also love to use natural materials from the garden, wherever I can. I love sewing, and I have made a lot of my own outfits for photo-shoots.
- Editor: I also love the editing process when creating my final finished images. I dabble in web design. I taught myself CSS & HTML.
- Photography: I love photography, I have my own camera, I particularly like conceptual images.
- Aerialist: I am also an aerialist, my passion is aerial hoop. So I like to keep myself fit. I also love teaching aerial skills.
Fairy circle – 2024
I used natural materials from my garden to create the affect of a dandelion with my aerial hoop. The giant cow parsley representing the seeds. I also made my own fairy wings.
Strip – 2014
I love corsets. With this image I wanted to show the difference between the corseted waist and the natural waist.
