This is my latest sewing project! I have been making an Elizabethan style dress, it is made from Silk and it has taken me about 2 weeks to complete. I’m pretty happy about the way it has turned out 😀 The bodice was the hardest part and took the most time.
I made little arm ruffs and a neck ruff to go with the outfit, they were not with the pattern but I thought they would look good! I also made some silk roses to go in my hair, I didn’t like the off cuts to go to waste.
Then we took some photos, I did my hair and make-up to go with the outfit. We will have to do an outdoor photo-shoot,  I can imagine this outfit in spring time with lots of blossoms.
