I have been doing splits stretching since March 2022. I do my leg stretches at least 4 times per week. Often is better, less likely to cause injury by over stretching.
One time I overstretched and pulled both my inner thigh muscles, on both legs. There were some interesting walking styles for a few weeks after. Very ouchie!
I didn’t give up and now I have reached my goal.
Update September 2024
2 years on and I am still stretching. I am now doing middle split stretches and I am also working on my back flexibility.
