Hi my name is Anna, I am a fully qualified aerial hoop instructor. I have 3 years experience.
My studio has an inclusive approach, welcoming adults of all ages, sizes, and shapes, and our focus on building confidence, strength, and flexibility while having fun, makes my lessons very appealing.
Classes are for complete beginners as well as students eager to advance their skills. Keep inspiring others to discover the joy and fitness benefits of aerial hoop!
I started aerial hoop when I was over 50 years old. I can honestly say that I have never felt as fit as I do now. It has changed whole outlook on life.
Questions and answers
- Do I need upper body strength? To start off with the answer is no. You will start with poses that do not require upper body strength and you will gain upper body strength along the way in your progress.
- Can anyone do aerial hoop? Yes, anyone can do aerial hoop regardless of size, shape, or age, provided there are no medical reasons that would prevent participation. With emphasis that with proper guidance, people of all backgrounds and fitness levels can enjoy and benefit from this exciting activity.
- Is it safe? All my equipment is inspected on a regular basis. Safety mats are always used. My aim is to make it as safe as possibe.
Building strength and self confidence
Aerial hoop is an amazing fun way to get fit, it will challenge you physically and mentally.
I’m not going to lie, aerial hoop is one of the most challenging sports to learn. But once you start, you will not want to give it up.
The aim is to start slowly and build up your confidence and strength. You will start with sitting in the aerial hoop and leaning poses. You will gradually learn to turn these moves into a flow, and learn to do these poses whilst spinning too!
MoreI can offer training for up to two people at a time, so you could learn with a friend. Because my training is on a more personalised level you will advance quickly.

Safety in the air
All of my equipment undergoes periodic inspection. All of the aerial hoops, strops, carabiners, ropes and rig points. So you can rest assured of your safety in the air.

All lessons should be booked in advance. I’m quite flexible on my hours so if you are too busy on weekdays I’m available on Saturdays and Sundays, also I can do some evenings.
